Born July 19, 1972 in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture
He started learning classical piano when he was a child (3 years old). He was shocked by "EW & F," which was used in local commercials in elementary school. He was affected by MADONNA, CHICAGO and SQUARE in junior high school.
He started a band in high school and moved to Tokyo after graduation. He went to Musashino Music Academy and studied under Greg Lee. Around this time, he met funk music and became devoted to black music. After graduation, he became a supporting member of "ef collage" and began to work as a musician in earnest.
