E. Bass / W. Bass — Composer, Arranger
Born on July 19, 1972, in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture.
He began studying classical piano at the age of three. In elementary school, he was struck by the music of “Earth, Wind & Fire,” which was playing in a local TV commercial. During junior high school, he was influenced by artists such as Madonna, Chicago, and The Square.
In high school, he started performing in bands, and after graduation, he moved to Tokyo. He entered Musashino Music Academy, studying under Greg Lee. Around this time, he discovered funk music and became deeply drawn to Black music. After graduating, he began his professional career as a support member of F. Collage, and has been active as a musician ever since.

We have launched “Bass Lessons” by Mitsuhiro Konno, a bassist widely active through collaborations and support performances with many musicians, including Sukima Switch.
The first trial lesson is free. From beginners to experienced players, the lesson program will be customized according to your goals and skill level.
If you don’t yet own an instrument or would like to stop by after work, please feel free to use the rental basses available in the studio.
